  • weight: The human brain is the fattiest organ in the body consist of approximately 60% of fat and an adult human brain weighing in around 3 pounds (1.2–1.4 kg or 2.6–3.1 lb). The brain is consists of 40% of grey matter and 60% of white matter.
  • Neurons: Neurons send a signal using action potential (electrical impulses). An action potential is a shift or relocation in the neuron's electric potential generated by the flow of ions in and out of the neural membrane. Ions are the solutions of atoms typically contains sodium, potassium, calcium, and chlorine The brain contains approximately 100 billion neurons which are also known as electrically excitable cells (nerve cells) that can send information at the speed of up to 270 miles per hour.

  • Pain: The human brain itself does not have any pain receptors and hence cannot feel any pain making it possible for doctors to perform brain surgery on patients who are awake. The skin and bone around the brain can feel pain.
  • Thoughts: The average person is believed to have around 60,000 to 70,000 thoughts a day however excessive thinking has been linked to stress, depression, and paranoia.

  • Meditation: Neuroscientists have claimed that neuron structures in brain change after eight to ten weeks of meditation and the results are astonishing and amazing. The people who practice meditation proved to have less anxiety, a calmer mood, sharper memory, more energy, longer attention spans, a higher tolerance to pain, a healthy relationship with their body and people around them, and overall higher quality of life.

  • Neuroplasticity:  We don't realize that the brain actually changes physically much like the way a body muscle grows according to the daily demands of our lives. The more often you do something the brain will change its pathways to change its efficiency. If you challenge your brain daily with brain-challenging activities it will maximize your brain efficiency.

  • Psychic abilities: In an experiment where individuals were shown either calm or an emotional image randomly selected by a computer the brain of the body showed reactions to the image six seconds before the image appeared on the screen, proving that our subconscious knows what is going to happen before it happens. Sometimes we would have received prior information about 6 seconds before the incident happened.

  • The power of the imagination: The greatest power of mankind is the power of imagination. It has been scientifically reported that the nervous system does not know the difference between reality and imagination and will react as though it were really happening. For example, you may imagine yourself falling off the edge of a building and your palms will begin to sweat and you will notice goosebumps on your body. The best athletes in the world know this secret and practice visualization techniques to improve their skills in sports while relaxing at home.

  • The third eye:   The third eye or inner eye refers to the doorway or path that leads to the inner realms and spaces of higher consciousnesses. In nowadays the third eye has been linked to the pineal gland, shaped like a pine-cone and centered in the middle of the brain. It is located between two eyebrows Surprisingly the pineal gland actually has retinal tissue made up of photo-receptors just like an eyeball.

  • DMT:  DMT (N, N-Dimethyltryptamine) is an illegal psychedelic drug that produces a powerful hallucinatory experience and apparent expansion of consciousness. The pineal gland is also considered to produce this chemical, nicknamed the spirit molecule or the seat of the soul. DMT is believed to be released during dreaming, during spiritual and mystical experiences, deep meditation, and during birth and death. It is known as the most powerful hallucinogenic drug that can dramatically affect human consciousness.
